As the daughter of a photojournalist and filmmaker, Shaz Malik comes by her profession through an inescapable hereditary gene. Just out of college, she realized her childhood dream of “running away and joining a museum” and accepted a position as an education media specialist at the National Gallery of Art. It was there – under the tutelage of internationally known curators and educators – that her training in visual and written expression came together in the form of media content development.
Shaz creates unique and innovative professional training programs, marketing campaigns and communications projects. A collaborative environment, where needs and visions are thoughtfully explored, is the atmosphere Shaz builds for every client and every project. Following this simple philosophy, she has created award-winning marketing campaigns and has been honored with Emmy, CINE and Telly awards. Her career in communications and talent development takes her on journeys around the world and includes work for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and smaller non-profits.
Shaz is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), studied English and Business Administration at the University of Maryland , holds a Master’s degree in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University, and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Systems Design from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
